My name is Thuong, I am a contemporary paper artist living in Bellevue, Washington.

I make intricate hand-cut art and paper sculptures. My work explores two deep passions: sharing my Vietnamese cultural root through modern narratives, and celebrating the way children live entirely in the present moment. My process is completely hands-on, because I love the feeling of cutting and sculpting every detail myself. I am largely self-taught, building on a single foundational class at the San Francisco Academy of Arts.

I intentionally work with white paper (and sometimes - black!). I want to remove all distractions, and explore the amazing depth and emotion that happen when light meets paper.
